Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao  This is an old temple situated at the mouth of Khlong Makham Thao, which   runs into the Tha Chin  River at  Amphoe Wat Sing, 25  kilometres northwest of Chainat. The shady  temple offers  pleasant  scenery and  houses mural paintings made by Krom Luang Chumphon Khet Udomsak, the father of the Thai navy.


Wat Phra Borommathat Worawihan This is an old temple on the bank of the Chao Phraya River. Located four kilometres from the town, it can be accessible by Route Nos. 340 and 3183. There is an old pagoda housing Lord Buddha's relics. It had been originally constructed with laterite in the Khmer period and was renovated in the Ayutthaya and Rattanakosin periods.


Within the precincts of the temple is the Chai Nat Muni National Museum  which displays several kinds of artefacts discovered in the town including Buddha images of different postures, as well as Thai and Chinese ceramics. It also exhibits various types of votive tablets.


Chai Nat Bird Park is known to be the biggest aviary in Asia. Although the park covers an area of 375 rai, the aviary occupies an area of 26 rai. Besides providing a natural environment for the birds to flourish in, the park also has around 63 cages in different sizes to house a wide variety of birds. You can also admire man-made waterfall, a beautiful garden, snake park, wild animal park and a rabbit park. The wild animals present in the park are chital, deer, hog deer, mountain goat and Eld’s deer.

The park also has a pond and in the middle of it is a pavilion which can be visited. Of course, the visit to the park will be incomplete without visiting the souvenir shops where you can localproducts like wickerwork items, pomelo's and bird models.The aquarium in the Chai Nat Bird Park is famous for Siamese tiger fish, Blanc’s striped feather back, Sumatran tiger barb and Siamese rock catfish. The aquarium is open from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. while the bird park is open from 8.00 a.m. until 6.00 p.m. You have to pay an entrance fee, which 100 Baht for adults and 50 Baht for children.This is located four kilometres before arriving in Chai Nat. Birds of more than 100 species live in a huge cage which maintains a natural environment. The park also has an Aquarium which has a collection of various kinds of freshwater fish found in the Chao Phraya River.


Local products such as bird models, wickerwork, and pomelo is available in the shops in the park.
