Ice hockey in Thailand looked again as if it would meet its demise. After enjoying
its greatest home ever at Bangkok’s Central World Plaza for eight months, the rink
– like so many others before – was closing down. Hockey appeared dead once again.
But that was before the lady affectionately known as Khun Kate came to the rescue.
